5yo Bay Gelding Mach Three – Soky’s Belle 25 NZ Starts 5 Wins 2 Seconds & 3 Thirds $45,630 & 13 Aussie Starts 4 Wins 2 Seconds & 2 Thirds $23874 to date. We bred this horse ourselves and race him in New Zealand as an early 3yo before sending him to NSW were he joined the Stable of Peter Russo. He ended up winning 7 races as 3yo including a heat on the Breeders Crown. He was brought back to NZ after the breeders crown series to be spelled and brought back up to target the 4yo races. He started his 4yo season with a good 2nd in the Northland Cup but as the season went on he got struck with a bad virus which forced us to make the decision to turn him out for 3 months. This time around he has come back a lot stronger and he has done a super job on the race track beating many high class horses at Alexandra Park. As he is still a M0 in NSW we have decided to send him back to Menagle to race as the stakes on offer are too good to turn down. He Left for NSW 6/2/12 where he will re-join the Peter Russo stable at Bathurst. We will like to own him for as long as we can, but the long term on is to move him on. Ideally I would like to sell him to the USA as I think he would do a really good job there. But where ever he goes I sure he will do very well. He wears no special gear and has had no legs troubles all his life. We will continue to race him until he has been sold. He can be trailed if required and vet checks can be arranged at buyer’s expense

4yo Bay Gelding Continentalman – Paris Metro 4 Starts $299 to date. I have only got as a (get going and sell horse) as the owners only buy horses to race for a few starts then sell as soon as they start going good. This horse only had his first start for me 5/2/12 he missed away and got checked coming up the straight the last time. I quite like him and think he is only going to get better with racing. He is due to race again on the 7/2/12 and the 9/2/12 at Palmerston North. He doesn’t know a lot about racing but after a few more races he should get the hang of things and start to show his true from. He is out of the 8 win mare Paris Metro who won over $120k in stakes herself. He wears no special gear and has had no problems and will pass the vet easy. We will continue to race him until he has been sold. He can be trailed if required and vet checks can be arranged at buyer’s expense

Sister Courage – Price on Application

3yo Bay Gelding Courage Under Fire – Universal Port. This filly is a Full Sister to Port Courage who won 7 races and over $93k in stakes from 24 starts. She Qualified on the 3/2/12 at Cambridge raceway, and only had one workout before her trail. In which she ran 2nd at the Auckland Workouts on the 28/1/12. I was very pleased with the way she qualified as she went 15 seconds quicker in her qualifying trail than her pervious workout 6 days early. She showed good gate speed in her trial and lead all the way and won pretty comfortably. The owners of this horse would like to sell her if they can so they can reinvest at the yearling sales which are nearly upon us. They don’t like to race many themselves they prefer to buy horses at the sales or breed them then get them going and sell from workouts or trails. But this filly will be racing in the next few weeks if not sold before hand as I think she would be quite easy to place her going by the way she is working. She wears no special gear and has had no problems and will pass the vet easy. We will continue to race her until she has been sold. Mahogany – $14,000 NZD ono

6yo Bay Gelding I Am A Fool- Art Of War 14 Starts 3 Wins 2 Seconds 1 Third $12,809 to date. This horse has done a really good job in the few starts he has had. He is currently racing and will continue to race until sold. I only got him to train during his 2nd preparation as he wasn’t broken in until he was a 5yo so he has come a long way in a short time. He is green but is getting better and better all the time. To me he seems to go better Left Handed but in saying that he has won 2 workouts at Alexandra Park going right handed. He does have good gate speed but I think he is best saved for one run. He is a lovely big horse and is very quiet to do anything with. He does roll a knee a little bit so I wear spreaders on him race day for confidence. He was trailed for Qld prior to his 4th 3 starts ago they worked him over a mile with last half 57.5 around my track with no spreader on! After pleasing them in his trail they wanted to see him race the next night. He ended up running an average 4th but it was only a sprint home. They didn’t end up buying him after they trailed a heap of other horses. I raced him 5 days later and won easy and I never turned the stick on him, he was one of the only horses to come from the back and win at Otaki. He was 3 wide with no cover for the last 800 meters or more. The gear he wears is Pacifiers removable hood and spreaders. I think he would really suit the bigger tracks as he will get home as good but can also leave the gate fast and trail up good. He can be trailed if required and vet checks can be arranged at buyer’s expense.

Castleton Victory - $7,000 NZD ono

8yo Bay Gelding Continentalman – Molly’s Report 18 Starts 2 Wins 2 Seconds $8,249 to date. This horse joined my stable 7/1/12. He did win really well 3 starts back at Cambridge when came from a long way back and sprinted home very nicely. He doesn’t go any good on the grass track so I won’t be racing him on there anymore. He has a cut on his near side hind leg, From when rolled into a fence before he came up to me to train. It is healing up quite nicely now. Photos can be available if required. The gear he wears is a knee boots and a pair of bell boots in front, no boots or anything in behind and murphy bind and removable hood with an open bridle with an over check. He used to miss away at the start and take no part but that seems to be behind him since the addition of a murphy blind to his gear. I don’t know a lot about him just yet but will know more after he had a few starts for us. I will continue to race him until sold. He can be trailed if required and vet checks can be arranged at buyer’s expense.

7yo Chesnut Gelding Sundon – Toos Loose 49 Starts 5 Wins 4 Seconds & 4 Thirds $42,261 to date. This horse joined the stables late November to take advantage of the small fields and good stakes in Auckland. His form has been in and out since coming north but he has had excuses when he has gone below average, he pulled a shoe in the 2 races he galloped. When he has trotter all the way he has gone really well. We are only just starting to get the hang of him now so hopefully his below average runs and behind him. He does wear half hopples in his races but works without them at home, Also on race day no whip is carried with him as he try his best as it is. I will continue to race him until sold. He can be trailed if required and vet checks can be arranged at buyer’s expense.

6yo Bay Gelding by Mach Three 57 Starts 1 Win 2 Seconds 4 Thirds $14052 to date. This Horse just joined the stable after being syndicated. The syndicate aim is to race him and have a bit of fun but the long term aim is selling him on. I have driven him on the grass a couple of times and one of the times he was very unlucky he never got a go. I don’t know a lot about him but will have more of an idea after he has had a few starts for us. He can be trailed if required and vet checks can be arranged at buyer’s expense.
